Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts have announced the next free update that will be coming to Titanfall 2 on March 30, titled “Colony Reborn“. Starting on that date, players can re-visit Colony, which is a beloved map from the original Titanfall game that features narrow streets, interiors, and rooftops. Players will also be able to try out an all-new Pilot execution, Curb Check pilot, as well as the new R-101 carbine. All of this content will be released for free with that update on March 30 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
As far as paid content goes, new cosmetic items including Prime skins for Northstar and Legion are being added, as are new Camos, new Callsigns, and more.
To celebrate the launch of Colony Reborn, another free trial weekend is upon us. Starting on March 30 (the day the new content is available), those who have not experienced Titanfall 2 can enjoy elements of the game’s critically acclaimed single player campaign, including The Beacon, one of the main missions from the game, and the Training Gauntlet that takes place near the beginning. In addition, those trying out the game during the free weekend will be able to jump into all multiplayer maps and modes. The Titanfall 2 free trial weekend will end on Monday, April 3, so be sure to take advantage of it if you are at all interested in it.
